Seemingly Simple .. is it?

It's all too easy these days to skim across and seek an immediate understanding or time-out and scroll past! Well, from time to time you come across folk willing to use Social Media in a richer, deeper way to share valuable insights, to learn and make connections. I recently posted a demonstration of using BIG PICTURE® to unpack the often technical language used for Cyber Security and Asset Management. If you're on Linkedin the post is here.

We were fortunate to capture the attention of Mark Downham who added a series of comments that lift the lid and goes a way to describe what is happening 'under the hood' . For me, as Creator, and I hope you too, this provides a series of references to go off and learn more about. It won't be for everyone as mostly people like to see the tool doing it's thing .. that is generating more outcomes in less time whilst colleagues have a load of fun! However, if you're a lifelong learner and like to know why things work then here goes ..

This us about increasing flow ..

Complexity is a form of communicative dissonance linked to information uncertainty - which can be expressed in various ways including agency, interaction, conversation, coding, messages, signals, non-linearity, asymmetry, entanglement, complex responsive process and any linguistic entity - which means it has an element of entropy, so the greater the energy flows, the greater the signal to noise ratio and the greater the conversion of complexity to entelechy - which is a form of negentropy.

The more exaptive your communication and conversation styles, the greater the energy flows and the degree of entelechy and the more green lights in your conversation traffic signals. What you are doing is increasing flow.

This is about language ..

Everything is language and everything has a language - so the issue is always going to be communication. Dot-joining is your communicative style and how you do pattern recognition and it is reflected in the way you link conversations together, like crossing the river by feeling the stones.

This, for me, is about ecosystems and dot-joining within ..

The whole purpose of a Complex Adaptive System (a complex adaptive system is a system that is complex in that it is a dynamic network of agents, interactions, and (continuous) emergence - but the behaviour of the ensemble - the agents - in their tangential asymmetries, nonlinearities and divergence v convergence - their dialectics - may not be predictable according to the behaviour of the components or frameworks they appear to be bound by and operating within. It is adaptive in that the individual and collective behaviours mutate, morph and self-organise corresponding to a change-initiating micro-event or collection of events) is to act as an exaptive trigger for emergent entelechy. You can consider BIG PICTURE® as an (adaptive) exaptive trigger. Conversations are energies and the dot-joining is a form of ecosystem architecture or scaffolding. The purpose of entelechy is to create dissipative structures. So if you break down silos you create a dissipative organisation with a high degree of responsive porosity and capacity for ecosystem emergence and energetic exchange.🔥

In response to a comment from Suzanne Jackson about accident investigation this is about energy flows ..

When you connect embodiment to workplace and raise situational awareness in a health and safety context - you create the type of somatic encounters and leverage points - like meridians in acupuncture - that release bursts of energy that flow around the organisation and get into the conversations and the decision making in energetic and motivational ways which are creative and inspirational - those energy surges 💥 are a form of negentropy. With entropy energy is continually draining out of organisations triggering a drift towards disorganisation. You are continually walking around pumping energy into things and making organisations really become alive, integrated and animated. The reason you are a transformative encounter is that you have a very communicative vitality - you make people feel alive with a sense of real value, purpose and commitment. Breaking down silos sounds great. Need a sledgehammer? 🔥

As I said in the comments "these are too good to be left in a Post thread" so I pulled them out to digest and develop here. I hope they provide an insight into what's really going on when the room comes alive!
